Our Story
Where it all began...
PURESEOUL started in 2019 with a simple premise: a curated, authentic K-Beauty experience, founded and powered by real K-Beauty lovers.
After spending time working and learning in Seoul, we fell in love with the brands, products and culture that make K-Beauty so special. Makeup artist Wing-Sze, designer Gracie and our third founder Leslie brought their expertise together, united by a shared belief that K-Beauty deserved to be experienced properly in the UK.
So, we started PURESEOUL! What began with just five brands and a lot of ambition, has grown into the UK's largest K-Beauty specialist. And today, we're still proudly 100% a independent team, with 18 stores nationwide.
Taking things offline
In 2022, after 3 years of building our community online, we opened our first store on Charing Cross Road, with 18 now open just 4 years later.
As K-Beauty lovers, we know the importance of testing and experiencing products in person. Our founder Gracie developed the store concept, shaping everything from the in-store journey and layout, to our now-signature blue. Designed to be approachable, confident, and unmistakably PURESEOUL.
We’ve quickly expanded across the country, with some openings drawing crowds of over 1,500 people! Today, we are proud to say our blue has become a familiar sight on UK high streets.
Our community
K-Beauty has always been about community. Before PURESEOUL, that lived online with blogs and forums helping us discover products when we couldn't be in Seoul.
Bringing that community in person became a natural next step. From exclusive collab launches, and inviting our brands over from Korea to host pop-ups and in-store events, PURESEOUL is a places to discover, share and connect.
Today, we have welcomed over 1 million K-Beauty lovers, and our Cloud Club programme brings our community even closer through exclusive events, early access, and Seoul-shopping inspired rewards.
Our Products
We don't believe in just stocking K-Beauty for the sake of it. Before anything reaches our shelves, our team has tried, tested and reviewed it, working directly with brands to guarantee authenticity, whilst building the close relationships behind our exclusive launches and experiences.
K-Beauty is full of surprises - some products viral in the West aren't even sold in Korea, and some of Korea's favourite brands are ones you haven’t heard of. If something is or isn't on our shelves, there's always a reason. With thousands of products launched and tested between us, we're here to help you discover something different - and trust that it's been chosen by us for a reason.

Our team are K-Beauty enthusiasts first — genuinely passionate about the products, and always on hand to share real expertise with our customers. Whether it's skincare, makeup or haircare, our people bring the same love for K-Beauty that got PURESEOUL started in the first place.
